It all started at Zilker Park...
Working at the larger agencies most of my PR career, I was well tired y'all. I wanted so badly to find a place that would allow for myself and employees to live, work and play together. So I sat in Zilker Park, in a little blue chair on a sunny day in Austin, Texas and wrote down all of the values I believed in. I furiously typed out a work environment where employees could come in, do amazing work and have a work/life balance.
The other part had to be to work with clients who shared the same values, appreciated a good laugh but also loved to work hard and think BIG. We wanted those with their feet on the ground and their head in the clouds.
Today, Conversation Piece Marketing & PR is a full-service PR and marketing firm that focuses on a team-first environment. We support each other through every step, and have created a fun work environment for all, including our amazing clients that are also like family.
What has struck me on this journey is that although we don't require you to come into the office, all of us show up everyday and work around a desk together as a team. It's not because we have to, it's because we want to. I think that's something truly special.
