Trends come and go, but investing in your wellness can last forever. That's why this week's trend bring such good news. Now, more than ever, it's time to take care of ourselves.

According to Intuit's 2020 forecasting report, health and wellness will become the world's largest industry in the next four years. That's huge, but not necessarily a surprise considering the rise in skincare as a major trend. Nowadays, our social feeds are full of friends and family members masking and sharing the latest and greatest products. Just last year, more than half of women said they want their skincare routines to be all-natural.

Consumers aren't just making over their skincare routines. In fact, that's just the tip of the iceberg. The health and wellness industry is getting an overall makeover (or face mask, if you will). It's trendy to eat well. Supplements are becoming a bigger part of the lives of modern consumers. We all know how much water we should be drinking. And for the first time in a while, the masses really care.

Social media has helped to reinforce this trend, as consumers' news feeds and online conversations are more oversaturated with education and product suggestions than ever. We have finally realized that beauty starts from within. Consumers know they have to build a healthy foundation for their future. Brands that take note before 2020 will surely come out on top.
