#ThirstyThursday: Cuvee Coffee's Black & Blue
Like most people my day doesn’t really begin until I have had my first cup of coffee. I frequent coffee shops (probably too much according to my bank account) and love to try out different varieties of coffee and espresso. A personal favorite place of mine that I discovered shortly after moving to Austin is local roaster Cuvee Coffee.
Even if you haven’t tried their coffee before, you most likely have seen it at a local shop as their bright blue bags of beans decorate the shelves of numerous shops around town. Now their coffee is delicious, don’t get me wrong, but what makes Cuvee worthy of its own blog post in my opinion is their Black & Blue nitro cold brew coffee.
Cold-brew coffee already has a special place in my heart, but the nitro puts Cuvee’s on another level. The added milky smoothness from the nitro, paired with bold coffee flavor, makes this drink unlike anything else. With a stout like creaminess and an amber ale color, this delicious drink goes down like an ice-cold beer.
Perfect for scorching summer days when the last thing you want is a hot cup of coffee, Black & Blue will hit that caffeine craving in the most refreshing way possible.
Check out Cuvee’s tap room on East 6th Street, featuring Black & Blue, as well as their many other drinks.
